Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. Brad was off work on Friday so we had a great family day with a trip to the zoo and a little shopping around. On Saturday, we went to Lawton to see the Shepards and let the kiddos play. We were going to let the kiddos participate in an egg hunt but we got there too late because we just couldn't stop visiting and get out the door. Oopsie...the kids had fun regardless. Then, on Easter Sunday, we went to Mass, played in the backyard and headed to the Sextons for an Egg Hunt and Easter Dinner.

Princess Kate was served breakfast in bed on Easter Sunday.

And the Easter Bunny came while we were at church...

That silly bunny brought Kate her first pair of dress up high heels and, of course, some new jewelery. She loved it! Since Easter, when I ask her to go get her shoes because we need to go, she brings me her high heels and says, "pink ones". Hee hee...she makes me laugh so much lately!

Kate's big thing lately is the water the plants. Since we haven't gotten our yard in shape yet, I haven't planted any flowers yet. I will do that soon because I know she will help me remember to water them. She asks every day to water the flowers (weeds)...ha!

Brad smoked some pork tenderloins for Easter dinner....
