Oh my! I can't believe Kate is almost 6 weeks old! She is just a doll baby...she is getting more and more interactive with each passing day. She loves lying around and cooing, gooing and smiling for us. She also loves looking at all of her friends (her toys) one at a time while mommy tells her all about that particular friend....she really likes listening to people talk. This weekend, Kate loved listening to her cousin Alexandra chat about all kinds of things! Kate watched her very intently. Alex will be in 3rd grade this year and had A LOT to tell us about what all happened in 2nd grade...she's the top reader in her class and has a vocabulary well beyond..very impressive!
She's still sleeping really well at night. She usually goes to bed around 10 and sleeps until 6:30 or 7 with a bottle around 2 or 3. However, last Friday night she slept from 9:30 until 8:15 the next morning (with a bottle in between, of course)....we were all shocked but well rested for sure!!! We are very lucky that she is such a good night sleeper. Her daytime sleeping is what is sometimes lacking....she just doesn't want to miss a thing! So she spends a lot of time in the baby papasan chair watching me do things like pay bills, wash dishes, cook, and clean. The papasan has been a lifesaver...thanks so much for letting us borrow it Jennifer!!!
